Latest News 10/02/09 Irish Construction Industry Magazine Planning permission has been granted for a new city quarter in Sligo, It will form new streets and a public square for a new city centre precinct that has been eight years in the making. The proposed multi-use scheme includes 33 retail units, 27 apartments and 440 integrated car parking spaces on an existing brown field site. DMOD Architects have been creating an evolving and flexible urban design masterplan for the new Retail Quarter in the city of Sligo on behalf of Treasury Holdings. The building footprint of the entire city block that comprises the masterplan site is over nine acres in total and consists of eight individual sites, the central quartet of which are being developed by Treasury Holdings. There will be over 25,000 sq. ft. of retail space alone when the project is completed in 2010.
